FAQ
  • Q13
【Contactor】What causes contactor overheating or burning?
    1. Adjust the power supply voltage.2. Replace the coil or contactor.3. Select other suitable contactors.4. Replace the coil and eliminate the fault that causes mechanical damage to the coil.5. Use a specially designed coil.6. Prevent contact sticking.7. Clear the pole surface or replace the iron core.8. Replace the contacts, adjust the parameters of the interlock contacts and replace the burned-out coil.
  • Q14
【Contactor】What causes contactor overheating or burning after its 8-hour operation?
    1. Increase the spring pressure of the contact.2. Clean the contact surface.3. Decreasing the current of the circuit.4. Adjust the contact overrun or replace the contact.
  • Q15
【Contactor】Why does the contact excessively wear out in a short time?
    1. Decreasing the current of the circuit or replace the contactor suitable for greater current.2. Ensure simultaneous contact.3. Prevent short circuit and replace the contacts.4. See the solutions for abnormal operation.
  • Q16
【Contactor】What are the causes for short circuit between phases?
    1. Check electrical and mechanical interlock.2. add intermediate links to the control circuit to extend the reversible time.3. Clean it frequently.4. Replace damaged parts.
  • Q17
【ACB】Can your ACBs be compatible with top-in or bottom-in incoming lines?
Yes. All intelligent ACBs such as the DW45 series, H8A series, HUW1 series, HYW3 series and HUW9 series can be compatible with top-in or bottom-in incoming lines without compromising on performance or protecting ability.
  • Q18
【ACB】Can your ACBs fit into the application of renewable energy.
Yes. The HUW1F and HUW9F series universal breakers are renewable-energy-related products. The HUW1F series are suitable for photovoltaic and wind power systems with AC 690 V and below while the HUW9F series with AC 1140 V and below.
  • Q19
【ACB】What are the methods for overvoltage and undervoltage protection?
There are two ways for overvoltage and undervoltage protection. One is by an intelligent overvoltage-and-undervoltage-protection controller with adjustable threshold voltage and operating time. The other is by an undervoltage release with the function of overvoltage and undervoltage protection, including pull-in aid (instantaneous operating) and self-priming (adjustable delayed operating) undervoltage release (1600 or below frame size is only suitable for self-priming undervoltage release).
  • Q20
【Switch】Why is the indicator light off when the HYFK switch opens?
Connect the switch to the working voltage (primary line).
  • Q21
【Switch】Why does the ACB trip or the fuse blows when the HYFK switch opens?
    1. Check the current and voltage.2. Fix the short circuit issue if any.
  • Q22
【Switch】Why does the HYFK switch not operate when the DC12V signal is to the K+ and K- after the “open” indicator light of the switch is on?
    Check the three-phase voltage.
  • Q23
【ACB】How many kinds of mechanical interlock do you have?
There are two types, cable interlock and lever interlock. These two types can be subdivided into 2-way interlock (control two breakers and can close only one of them) and 3-way interlock (control three breakers and can close one or two of them). The 1600 and below frame size can only be compatible with 2-way interlock while DW45/HYW3-1000 only supports cable interlock. The lever interlock is only suitable for the vertical stacking of the circuit breaker (the distance ≤0.9m). The cable interlock is used for the distance ≤2m between two products and the bending degree of the steel cable should not affect its function.

【ACB】How to distinguish the phase sequence of your universal breakers?
The default phase sequence of our universal breakers is: N、A、B、C (front, from left to right). Tailored phase sequence is also available if needed.
